i-Clickr Remote for PowerPoint Lite App Reviews

If you can live without your notes in your hand...

If you can live with having your notes on your laptop screen rather than in your hand, I would recomment getting the Air Mouse application. As with this application, you can control your Powerpoints without having to be connected to a separate Wi-Fi network. You can also control the rest of your computer. i-Clickr is a good application, but the $1.99 Air Mouse is of much greater value than a $9.99 program that can often be glitchy.

Not bad!

Great application to use. A lot of previous people who posted negatively about the product arent computer proficient but its easy to set up and no problems were encountered. Maybe can be improve by otherwise. its a great investment.

Simply amazing!

I needed this for my speech class in college, and this app worked flawlessly! The app is simple to use, and gets the job done without fuss I cant thank the developers enough.

Cant connect

I put in my ip adress and its not working...terrible

Like the app but.....too pricey for full version

I like this free app but REALLY! $10 for the full version? It would have to be 5 stars for that coin. I am a bit weary of buying it then having it crash in me. Maybe for $5. Not for $10. Sorry.

Connections

If it wont connect with your ip address, you need to install bonjour from apple, make sure both your computer and your iPhone/iPod Touch are both connected to the Internet, open iclickr on your computer, then open iclickr app , and choose connect with bonjour.

This version dont work still bugs in it

This still has bug the orginial version worked but the update is buggy and now doesnt work on my computer, It looking for microsoft powerpoint and cant find it

Not for everyone

Try as I may - I was unable to get it to work after several tries and many hours. It looked promising, but may not work on all machines and networks. I can connect occasionally but it does nit see the PowerPoint. The websites does a good job of offering help but even an ad-hoc network would not work.

Bluetooth

The only reason I havent bought the full version yet is the lack of bluetooth conection...

Cool app

Had trouble getting it to work. Shut program on laptop and phone, opened program on laptop then phone app worked with ease. Cool app. Fun to use.

Wouldnt connect to laptop

Spent 15 min trying to connect iPhone and laptop (and this after more time downloading Windows software and iPhone app). But couldnt ever get it to connect, despite trying instructions on their support website. Sorry guys, but its not worth the trouble. Deleted.

Works for me!!!

I just downloaded it on my iPhone and XP system and it fired up perfect using Bonjour the first time, second time, third time, ...you get the picture. I only did some testing, but like what Im seeing so far. Most of my presentations are less than 15 so it shouldnt be an issue. Would have gave it a 5 if I could have had all my controls on portrait, but landscape with a finger slide to advance the PP was fine to have all controls available. I do agree $10 is a little steep. Id give $3 maybe even $5. End result is Im impressed. Well done!!!

Not what I wanted

This app is good for businesss but I just wanted to make powerpoints for my family and friends. Its just not want I wanted or expected, so if you want to make them for the same reason as me, dont bother.

FAIL!

Able to connect to win7 but never saw PPT 2007 on iPhone. Best feature of this app is that it is free to try, but dont buy!

It clicks

All it really does is click - fairly worthless if you have a complex presentation that has actual links that need to be hovered or clicked. Might as well use itouch-server app to use your phone as a mouse. It is free and It clicks just the same but you have full mouse control. Who needs a preview of the slide on the tiny phone during the presentation? That would be bad form IMHO.

Not the greatest!

I thought this app would be good clicking through my presentation, but quickly realized that I didnt like it. Connection was successful and I could see my PowerPoint, but half the way through, the app would just close unexpected. Not the best app out there!

Not a good app

From wat I read and experienced not a good app FAIL

Perfect!

Down loaded a free version an it was crap but this one saved the day. Worth the 9.99 fee. Presentation went flawlessly with no hiccups. They do say not to connect via wifi and its true manually type in the IP address to pair your phone to the laptop. My only complaint is that the screen interface on the phone does rotate which will throw you off. Lets make the updated version keep its vertical orientation all re time no matter if you rotate the phone during your presentation.

Not functioning easily!

Not functioning! Preloading takes forever!

Great app!

I use this for my presentations during my class. I have major cool points when they realize I am using my iPhone to control what they see on the big screen while I walk around.
